I know the feeling of looking at someone you barely know
Staring at the mirror, at the stranger in your clothes
The thin girl within you is begging to get out
And it’s at times like this that you hear her shout
She’s screaming too loud, you cannot ignore,
With stomach churning your knees hit the floor,
Tears starting to fall, there’s no turning back,
You’re heaving as she takes all the strength that you lack
The colours swirl around you until you finally cease,
With your stomach finally empty, for a while she’ll give you peace.
