A Puzzle Poem

in the morning my bones are weak
and i cannot walk.
i use my four legs to drag my body
along the ground towards food.

what am i?

in the afternoon i stand proud
my head blocking out the sunlight.
i use my two legs to kick out at my enemies
and support my hulking frame.

what am i?

in the evening my weary limbs
begin to seize and my hair is touched
by starlight. my three legs bow as i
begin to fade.

what am i?

the night has come
my legs are gone
so is the rest
of me

I am nothing.
